Arrive at Luoyang Longmen Railway Station, where your driver greets you on arrival and drives you into the city. Your guide starts at the Museum of Luoyang Eastern Zhou Royal Horse and Chariot Pits, the excavated tombs of the Eastern Zhou royal house (around the 5th to 3rd century BC). You walk over the original pit floors to see horse-and-chariot remains, including the rare six-horse chariot, while your guide explains Zhou burial ranks and the ritual system behind them. Afterward your driver takes you to a downtown hotel to check in before the evening.
