The Huangshan portion involves walking on mountain paths, stone steps, and scenic trails, including areas such as Bright Summit and West Sea Grand Canyon. A moderate level of fitness is recommended, but cable cars are included to reduce climbing time and make the experience more comfortable.
Staying overnight on the mountain allows you to experience the sunrise and changing scenery of Huangshan at different times of the day. Mountain-top hotels have more limited facilities compared with city hotels, but the unique location and views make it a memorable part of the journey.
