The Song of Everlasting Sorrow Performance is a large-scale live show based on the famous Tang Dynasty love story between Emperor Xuanzong and Lady Yang Guifei. Set against the beautiful landscape of Mount Li and Huaqing Palace, the performance combines music, dance, lighting, and stage effects to recreate the romance and elegance of the Tang Dynasty.
The Song of Everlasting Sorrow Performance takes place at the Huaqing Palace scenic area near Mount Li, approximately 40 kilometers from downtown Xi’an. The unique outdoor setting allows visitors to enjoy the historical atmosphere of the Tang Dynasty while watching the performance.
The show schedule varies depending on the season and performance arrangements. Since it is an evening outdoor performance, the start time is usually after sunset. We recommend checking availability in advance, especially during peak travel seasons and public holidays.
