This itinerary goes beyond the popular Huangling Village and explores lesser-known ancient villages such as Qingyuan, Chaguan, Hongguan, and Longwei. You will experience traditional Huizhou architecture, riverside villages, local culture, and the quieter side of Wuyuan’s countryside.
Each village offers a different experience: Qingyuan features peaceful riverside scenery and well-preserved Huizhou houses, Chaguan is known for its historic stone bridge and water culture, Hongguan is famous for its ancient camphor tree and Huizhou ink heritage, while Longwei offers beautiful streams, bamboo forests, and rural landscapes.

Wuyuan is beautiful throughout the year. March to April is popular for spring flowers and countryside scenery, while autumn offers colorful rural landscapes and the famous sun-drying scenes at Huangling. Summer and winter are quieter and suitable for travelers who prefer fewer crowds.
