Fenjiezhou lies off Lingshui, about 2 hours's drive east of Sanya, roughly 90 km along the coast. Your private car takes you door to door to the pier and waits while you are on the island, so you arrange no buses or taxis, and you are back at your hotel by early evening at a relaxed pace.
Yes. The main bay is sheltered, with calm, clear, shallow water that suits beginners and children. If you would rather stay dry, a glass-bottom boat shows you the same reef without entering the sea. Your guide helps you choose snorkeling, the boat, or the beach, so everyone enjoys the water at their own level.
Bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, a hat, and a change of clothes for after the water.
